Many will be gathering to celebrate Easter next weekend in houses of God all over the nation and in other parts of the world. Many times families unite and attend services more so to celebrate Easter as a nation holiday and simply a custom of the lands. I know many people that attend Easter services and then do not attend another church service until either the Christmas holiday or again at Easter.Therefore, let us as the body of Christ earnestly pray that this Resurrection weekend celebration that many would receive Christ as their Lord and Savior and that the Spirit would be poured out and draw many into God's houses on a regular basis.

His Passion Burns Like A Flame Of Fire
Many people don't see God as a loving God, but more so as a God of dread. This is sad because the love of Christ burns like a bright flame.
In fact in the word of God it speaks of Christ's love being so like fire, that many waters cannot quench it. As believers we must come to know, understand and receive freely the love of Christ. We must come to understand that God's love is the very essence of God, and that when Christ died on the cross, that was God's love and passion being poured out.
We must learn to be good receivers, and receive the fullness of the measure of God's love deep into our beings, to know that we are highly favored and deeply precious to God. We must be more willing to allow the Holy Spirit to pour out and fill us with the love of God.

HIMACHAL PRADESH (ANS) About 40 Christians were kidnapped February 27 by anti-Christian radicals in Himachal Pradesh, India. The extremists reportedly took the Christians to a religious temple and are trying to force them to renounce Christ and return to the country's dominant faith.
Initial reports from the area indicate that some of those kidnapped are part of a Gospel for Asia related church in the village where the kidnapping occurred.
GFA leaders in Himachal Pradesh ask for prayer for those who were captured, that they will stand firm in their faith, even in this difficult time. They also ask for prayer for the overall situation for Christians in this northwest Indian state.
An anti Christian political party controls Himachal Pradesh, and it is possible that the group who kidnapped these Christians is affiliated with the political party. One of this party's goals is to convert Christians to India's predominant religion. It is not unusual for these extremists to kidnap believers and force them to bow before the statues that represent the country's traditional gods. If the Christians refuse to bow to the statues, they risk being ostracized from society, which brings much shame in the Asian culture in which they live.
The extremist ruling party believes that keeping people in the traditional religion brings unity to the state, and ultimately to the entire country. Since Christianity is so radically different than the other religions, a persons decision to follow Christ creates friction in families and sometimes entire villages.

I love to worship God. To gather together with others in Christ in corporate worship and worship Him in song. There is just something that no words can express that one experiences when the love, compassion, mercy and presence of God is poured out.
There is a river that flows and manifests from heaven here on earth in the heart, soul and life of a believer that is endless, rich, and that overflows with the love of Christ.
If you are not a worshipper, let me encourage you by saying that at one time, I wasn't either. Yet the days came when I came to understand the love and presence of the King. Going from Glory to Glory.
I encourage you if you have not found His love flowing in the river that I speak of, to simply seek Him. The river is readily flowing for all that will come to Him. Psa 40:3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, [even] praise unto our God: many shall see [it], and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
Psa 40:4 Blessed [is] that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Psa 40:10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
Psa 40:11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
Psa 40:12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
Psa 40:13 Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.
Psa 40:14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
Psa 40:15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
Psa 40:16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.
