Jesus spoke of the man who built his house on solid foundation vs. the man that built his house on sand. One was built on rock solid foundation, while the other was not. Jesus went on to say that the house built on the solid foundation could withstand difficult times, that the winds could blow and the house would remain, but that the house built on sand would not stand and great would be the fall of it. Just imagine the endless situations and circumstances that this application could apply to.

Sometimes it's possible to start out on solid foundation and slowly be moved to unstable foundation. One way for this to happen is through compromise. We all occasionally compromise, however if we continue to walk in compromise it can cause a shift and that shift can lead to unstable grounds.

When this happens, we must examine situations, ourselves, and the path that we have taken. For it's easy to get off course in today's world.

There are blessings found in the straight and narrow.

I just read a article online from a high end California news paper that shared that a man is collecting signatures to have divorce banned in California. The article shares that it will require 694,354 signatures of registered voters to be collected by March 22nd of 2010 to get the measure of the ballad next year. Imagine that.

It's called the ELIMINATES THE LAW ALLOWING MARRIED COUPLES TO DIVORCE. INITIATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT.

Do you like reading Christian Magazines and keeping up with the latest? It's exciting to see what God is doing nationally, around the world and in the lives of others. It's also exciting to see how the body of Christ is growing and touching lives around the world. There is a lot of valuable information to be found in Christian Magazines and publications.

Over the years, I have read many different publications and gained valuable information and insight through them. One publication that comes to mind is Christianity Today which is very informative. Another that comes to mind is Charisma Mag which also in very informative.

Regardless of your person reading likes and dislikes, let me encourage you to add some great reading, articles and insight to your library through reading some great Christian Magazines like the above two.

Many people believe in reincarnation. Personally, I do not and I do not find any scriptural evidence to support it. However this article is about reincarnation from both a secular perspective and a biblical perspective. So what does the bible say about reincarnation. I'm sure that many people have different biblical views about what the bible says about reincarnation. From a secular belief here is what one author says about reincarnation which also speaks about karma.

My advise to those curious about reincarnation is to take the time to study reincarnation and then apply sound scriptural teachings. Otherwise you may find yourself falling prey to the faith and beliefs of some who's entire belief system is of error. For the scriptures are truth and God's word is a very sure foundation.

Remember, God created all things and in Him is the key to eternal life.

I must admit that I'm at a loss. We have NASA which accomplishes great things. We have technology that is flat out amazing. Our military is the most powerful well equipped military in the world. The world looks to America for many things and to help solve many problems. Yet, we can't safeguard our citizens and our children from drugs, gangs and the violence, death and destruction they cause.

In the blink of an eye, we can ship men off to war, prepare entire battle plans and engage an enemy with strategic force, yet we can't end illegal drugs. We are able to put satellites into orbit, but we can't end illegal drugs.

I just wonder why? Why can America accomplish such great things, however America can't stop the flow of illegal drugs into our country? I'm praying for a drug free America and for our children's future, free from drugs, gangs, violence, and the death and destruction they cause.

Have you ever studied the religions of the world. It's quite an extensive study and there is so much information to intake. Just imagine all the religions of the world, all the cultures, faiths, and beliefs. It's amazing how many religions there are.

As a Christian, well that pretty much shares it. Jesus Christ is my Lord, my Savior and my King. Yet it's always good to have some knowledge of other religions, especially when sharing Christ with others. Here's a great site that shares the Religions Of The World.

I love the peace of God and have learned over the years how to remain at peace. However, there were times that this peace escaped me and was no where to be found. Maybe you to have experienced this.

You see we must seek peace, find it and hold onto it. For example today in our household, the morning started out very peaceful. In fact, extremely peaceful. Then one of the family members decided that they were just a tad bored. Next thing you knew, it was time to clean, start new projects, load this, load that, go here and go there. Within 20 minutes peace was quickly replaced by frustrations, messes and things that were not even a part of the day and especially a Saturday.

Peace is found deep within, and comes with being still. Getting busy and doing things out of boredom is not a doorway to peace. Sometimes, you just have to sit back, relax and just enjoy the day for what it is. Wonderfully, beautiful!

I'm sure that you've heard the news reports about the earthquake out in the ocean. The earthquake had a magnitude of 8.3 which is quite a earthquake. News reports share that at least 14 people were killed when a tsunami swept ashore in a South Pacific country after the powerful earthquake hit. News reports are still coming in and while this may seem light compared to other more devastating Tsunami's in the past, it also speaks loudly with regards to the loss of life and potential deduction that could come forth from future Tsunami's.

Please pray for the families of the victims and the people affected by this situation.

I'm sure that you have heard those words before. Many are called and few are chosen. I am reminded of the two paths, one being straight and narrow and the other being wide and broad, that many go within. Many take the wide and broad path that leads to destruction, yet few take the straight and narrow. Interesting concept, two paths with one leading to eternal life.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Seek Him and find, knock and the door will be opened, for all who truly call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Have you see the video's online? Gemstones falling from heaven. Accounts of people finding them in their yards, homes, in Churches and other places. There was a guest speaker at our church that brought some of these heavenly gemstones, spoke about them and showed them to everyone at church.

My thoughts on the subject are ...

Ouch! I've been fighting some major tooth pain. I went through the antibiotics and pain pills which did help, however it's looking like it's time for some dental work which I'm not looking forward to. Let's see, $90.00 for the office visit and a estimate of repairs (kinda feel like a car) and then around $175.00 to pull the tooth. So we are looking at a few hundred bucks at the very least. Ouch! and ouch! I don't know which hurts more the pain or the cost of the dental work. Hey, maybe there's a stimulus package that will cover this. We had the cash for clunkers, how about cash for dental work. OK, I'm trippen :)
