I believe that 2009 will bring a new season in America. However, I am yet convinced that this new season will not come without extreme hardships, trials and changes for the nation.

You see, it is my opinion that our nation has fallen from the grace of God. One might say how so? That's simple:

We are not finding the favor and blessing of God upon our nation or people. We say on the back of our money 'In God We Trust", however it seems to me that America has put her trust in everything but God.

Maybe as a country and a nation, we should return to the very God that our fore father's so spoke about, trusted and believed in. Maybe as a country and a nation we should return to the moral standards that were a part of making this nation a great nation. Maybe as a nation and people we should apply the following:

2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Maybe as a country and a people, we should return to the Lord and the ways of the Lord.

Hsa 6:1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

Maybe things seem just a tad challenging. Maybe times seem just a bit overwhelming. Maybe your encountering deep hurts, sorrows, loss, grief or quite possible trials, tribulations, persecution or just flat out hard times. If so at least you can determine your situation and the season.

I just want to encourage you in Christ that regardless of the situations and circumstances. That you can call upon the name of the Lord, that Christ is there for you, that His mercies are new every morning and that His love can rush in like a river flowing from heaven and change your situations.

There are some in the body of Christ that abuse prophecy and the prophetic ministry. Yes they follow scripture, encourage, build up and speak words of edification. But the true spirit behind it is for financial gain.

Beware, Jesus spoke of these.

In The Hearts OF The Flock Of God!

As resurrection weekend is coming to an end. May a new song arise in your hearts. May God by the Holy Spirit impart a new song, and fresh revelations of Christ deep into your heart and soul. May Christ dwell richly within you, and may there be a stiring of the Spirit in your life. May we all encounter a resurrection deep within our hearts for God, His Kingdom and others.

Many will be gathering to celebrate Easter next weekend in houses of God all over the nation and in other parts of the world. Both the believer and also those that have truly yet to come to know Christ. Many times families unite and attend services more so to celebrate Easter as a nation holiday and simply a custom of the lands. I know many people that attend Easter services and then do not attend another church service until either the Christmas holiday or again at Easter.

Therefore, let us as the body of Christ earnestly pray that this Resurrection weekend celebration that many would receive Christ as their Lord and Savior and that the Spirit would be poured out and draw many into God's houses on a regular basis.

Prayer is powerful, and through prayer things change, lives change, and hearts are softened. Therefore let us pray for the lost souls of the lands and those whom have yet to come to know Christ, the way of the Cross and God's perfect plan of redemption.

Many people don't see God as a loving God, but more so as a God of dread. This is sad because the love of Christ burns like a bright flame.

In fact in the word of God it speaks of Christ's love being so like fire, that many waters cannot quench it. As believers we must come to know, understand and receive freely the love of Christ. We must come to understand that God's love is the very essence of God, and that when Christ died on the cross, that was God's love and passion being poured out.

We must learn to be good receivers, and receive the fullness of the measure of God's love deep into our beings, to know that we are highly favored and deeply precious to God. We must be more willing to allow the Holy Spirit to pour out and fill us with the love of God.

Gospel for Asia For Immediate Release

HIMACHAL PRADESH (ANS) About 40 Christians were kidnapped February 27 by anti-Christian radicals in Himachal Pradesh, India. The extremists reportedly took the Christians to a religious temple and are trying to force them to renounce Christ and return to the country's dominant faith.

Initial reports from the area indicate that some of those kidnapped are part of a Gospel for Asia related church in the village where the kidnapping occurred.

GFA leaders in Himachal Pradesh ask for prayer for those who were captured, that they will stand firm in their faith, even in this difficult time. They also ask for prayer for the overall situation for Christians in this northwest Indian state.

An anti Christian political party controls Himachal Pradesh, and it is possible that the group who kidnapped these Christians is affiliated with the political party. One of this party's goals is to convert Christians to India's predominant religion. It is not unusual for these extremists to kidnap believers and force them to bow before the statues that represent the country's traditional gods. If the Christians refuse to bow to the statues, they risk being ostracized from society, which brings much shame in the Asian culture in which they live.

The extremist ruling party believes that keeping people in the traditional religion brings unity to the state, and ultimately to the entire country. Since Christianity is so radically different than the other religions, a persons decision to follow Christ creates friction in families and sometimes entire villages.

It is written that love is the greatest of all gifts. We all know what it's like to be hated, disliked, and even ridiculed. It leaves one with a very sour and bitter taste when such inflicted cruelties are cast at us.

However there is a fruit that is sweet to the taste, and that brings joy to the soil. Love. It is the greatest of all gifts, and comes from the Father.

Please reach out to that fatherless child, that child who's life is affected by the loss of a father through death, separation or divorce. Our communities are full of them, our schools are full of them and one doesn't have to look far to find a son or a daughter, in need of some love, compassion, mentoring and friendship. I love to worship God. To gather together with others in Christ in corporate worship and worship Him in song. There is just something that no words can express that one experiences when the love, compassion, mercy and presence of God is poured out.

There is a river that flows and manifests from heaven here on earth in the heart, soul and life of a believer that is endless, rich, and that overflows with the love of Christ.

If you are not a worshipper, let me encourage you by saying that at one time, I wasn't either. Yet the days came when I came to understand the love and presence of the King. Going from Glory to Glory.

I encourage you if you have not found His love flowing in the river that I speak of, to simply seek Him. The river is readily flowing for all that will come to Him. And if you have experienced this river that I speak of. It's time to go deeper and into deeper waters. The waters of His love compassion and heart.
